IBM TO PLUMP FOR WADSWORTH OR WORDSWORTH

Sources say that IBM Corp’s PowerPC-based notebook – the initial version of which will be based on the 601 until the 603 chip for portables is out of the gate – is called either Wadsworth or Wordsworth, and includes a 640 by 480 colour thin-film transistor display, 8Mb to 64Mb RAM, two PCMCIA slots, 250Mb to 400Mb drive, SCSI, Ethernet and AppleTalk Support.
