IBM TIPPED TO HAVE DISKLESS WORKSTATION IN PERSONAL SYSTEM/2 FAMILY

By CBR Staff Writer

IBM is tipped to come out with a diskless workstation in its Personal System/2 family, likely based on the motherboard of the Model 30: diskless workstations adhere to the company’s longstanding belief that control should be centralised, allowing an administrator to have dictatorial control of the server and all the software that is made available to users (no more games).
