IBM “THRILLED” WITH RESEARCHERS

IBM is thrilled with the work of its researchers, who, it says, have succeeded in fabricating transistors in Silicon with feature sizes as small as 0.1 micron: the experimental Ultra Large Scale Integration parts need liquid nitrogen cooling to prevent them burning up.
