IBM TEAMS UP WITH OPUS FOR DEVLOPMENT IN DOWNTOWN MINNEAPOLIS

By CBR Staff Writer

But IBM has bigger fish to fry and is going back into property development: this time it has teamed up with Opus Corp for a major development in downtown Minneapolis – where they have these lovely glass-covered first floor walkways between the buildings and shops so that you can roam the downtown area without having to venture out into the snow-covered streets – and will be putting up a total of 1.3m square feet of space comprising a 58 storey tower, an 18-storey building and a 14-storey circular atrium; IBM will take 233,000 square feet for its Central Area Marketing headquarters, but the building will bear the name of First Banc System which will take about half of it.
