In the US, Standard Edition 1.0 from IBM will cost $325 and will occupy no fewer than four floppy disks – it’s available next month there; Extended Edition 1.0, with database and enhanced communications, is planned for July 1988 availability and will cost $795 – which will be close to the price for wor-king AT alike by then; the Standard Edition 1.1 with Presentation Manager windowing, in October 1988, and Extended Edition 1.1 for November 1988, will be uncharged upgrades.
