IBM and Software AG are working to optimize the German software company’s Bolero for building Java Bean components for e-business applications running on IBM platforms. The plan, explained Software AG’s sales, marketing and services director, Helmut Wilke, is to integrate his company’s Bolero component builder with IBM’s Component Broker. IBM has studied closely Bolero and decided it to recommend it as an ideal partner to build e-commerce components, said Wlke, SAG sources said IBM’s move came as some relief to the company as Bolero was only launched in March and this means they (IBM) have nothing similar to it.
