IBM REPLACES 737X COLOUR PEN PLOTTERS WITH FASTER, CHEAPER 6168

By CBR Staff Writer

And IBM has come up with a new colour plotter that provides higher resolution and performance than the 7374 and 7375, which are withdrawn from marketing as a result. The 6168 is described as a high-performance multi-pen plotter handling drawing sizes from A to E. It costs $9,900 for the cut sheet version, model 1, and $11,900 for the roll feed version 2. Both will be available in April.
