IBM REMAINS SILENT ON THE ULTIMATE FATE OF TALIGENT

On Friday all the major US papers were full of the same story we carried, that a half-size Taligent was to be folded into IBM Corp but IBM would say only that it was in talks with its other partners, Apple Computer Inc and Hewlett-Packard Co.
