IBM Insurer Messaging, developed on a service oriented architecture, will improve cost efficiency of insurance companies, by replacing paper based operations with electronic data transfer. The new service, which is developed to ensure the ACORD insurance industry data standards adopted in London, will offer low cost electronic trading facility.

Graham Wright, UKISA insurance leader at IBM Global Business, said: This is a significant landmark in IBM’s commitment to support the reform of the London market. We look forward to market participants benefiting from the service and joining the brokers and insurers who have already signed letters of intent to use the messaging network.
