IBM RECKONS 70% OF PS/2 SALES GO INTO HOMES

By CBR Staff Writer

IBM reckons that there are 90,000 households in the US, that 20m have a personal computer of some kind – something more than a games machine – and it says that it sees another 40m homes as targets for the PS/1; it also reckons that 20% of the PS/2s it sells are going into the home – seems a little surprising.
