IBM “NEAR ACCORD WITH FUJITSU”

IBM and Fujitsu have reached a partial settlement of their software copyright dispute, Agence France Presse reports from Tokyo. The new accord is said to require Fujitsu to pay a surcharge on top of the $6.8m a month royalty it is believed to have been paying IBM for MVS.
