Merrill Lynch & Co reports IBM Corp’s AS/400 revenue was off about 13% in its third quarter despite first shipments of the new electronic commerce-oriented AS/400e. RS/6000 revenue was flat with the PC business showing growth of 5%. Server units doubled and desktop sales were up almost 15%. Consumer and mobile sales were down.
