IBM LEASER REFLEX FROM EMERALD ISLE TO JOIN ATLANTIC ON THE LONDON MARKET

By CBR Staff Writer

Atlantic Computers Plc will shortly lose its short-lived status as the only UK-listed computing leasing company: Dublin-based IBM lessor, broker and computer disaster recovery outfit Reflex Investments Plc, formed in 1984 by former IBM Ireland executives Aidan Farrell and Martin Fullam, is coming to the Unlisted Securities Market by way of a placing by DCC Corporate Finance Ltd of 2.3m shares – 20% of the equity – at the equivalent of 43p to raise UKP1m. The company is forecasting doubled pre-tax profits to April 30 1988 of UKPIr500,000 – that’s UKP448,000 sterling. After the placing, Farrell and Fullam will own 20.2% each and DCC’s parent Development Capital Corporation Ltd 39.6%.
