IBM JAPAN TO SHIP NEW COMPILER IN MAY

IBM Japan looks for its VS Fortran compiler on the 3090 with Vector Facilities to enable it to compete with the MVS-compatible scientific supercomputers from Fujitsu Ltd and Hitachi Ltd: the new compiler ships in May and will lease for $1,500 a month.
