IBM ITALIA BUCKS TREND WITH STRONG 1986

The 1986 figures from IBM France and IBM Deutschland were so rotten that some countries must have done well for the company to achieve even the dull overall outturn it managed – and a bright spot was IBM Italia – net up 12% to the equivalent of $428m on turnover up 4.4% at $3,538m. Even rental and leasing business was up there – by 15% to $813m.
