IBM Corp and Los Angeles, California-based Isocor Corp are collaborating to develop and market a version of Isocor’s Isotrade X.435 Electronic Data Interchange server to be integrated with the 1988 X.400 Message Transfer Agent component of IBM’s new AIX OSI Services/6000, which provides RS/6000 users with communications services including electronic mail and file transfer. The software will provide communications and interoperability for Electronic Data Interchange client applications via X400-based messaging, say the companies. The initial product will be called Isotrade for IBM AIX OSI Services/6000. No news on delivery dates or prices.
