IBM Corp has introduced PC-DOS 6.3 with integrated data compression, improved memory management and a suite of enhanced utilities: the company is offering it free to anyone that wants to download it from CompuServe; it includes built-in support for pen-based computers and Phoenix Technologies Ltd’s PhoenixCard Manager Plus for PCMCIA cards; it includes Central Point Software Inc’s RAMBoost, Central Point Back-up, Undelete and Program Scheduler; it is $77 to non-CompuServe users.
