Lowe also said that while PS/2 Models 60 and 80 were in plentiful supply, IBM was having trouble meeting demand for the 30 and the 50, and – a little surprisingly, perhaps – that PS/2 sales were relatively better in Europe than in the US: acceptance is growing at an exceptional rate in Europe, he said, adding that while the 60 and 80 are more popular abroad, they are moving nicely in the US too.
