IBM HAS SHIPPED 20,000 COPIES OF OS/2

Pointing out that OS/2 is the first personal computer operating system that has full IBM support, the firm accompanied its announcement that it had shipped the first 20,000 copies (CI No 826), with a note that while OS/2 Standard Edition has a one-time licence charge of $325, for a limited period, users of PC-DOS 3.0 up will be able to have it for $200 – and keep PC-DOS.
