IBM GERMANY: NOW 6,000 MUST GO

By Friday, IBM Deutschland GmbH had upped the job cuts ante to 6,000 from the 3,500 announced earlier for next year (CI No 2,299): 4,500 will go in 1994, 1,500 in 1995, on top of 3,500 in 1993; it is ending Sindelfingen’s ceramic manufacture.
