The deal includes IT system infrastructure management and business process improvement. San Diego, the fourth largest county in the US with a yearly budget of more than $4bn, is scheduled to award the contract later this year.
The three companies have experience with several large US local government contracts have united under the name Innovation San Diego. IBM would be the prime contractor for the project.
