IBM is celebrating a three-year contract – potentially worth hundreds of millions of dollars, from the US Postal Service for up to 904 370-type computers, mainly 9370s but perhaps a few 4381s: there are two extension options on the contract, the systems are to be used for administration, and IBM will initially ship 306 machines over a two-year period starting September.
