IBM Canada president resigns

IBM Canada Ltd's president, Ed Kilroy, has left the company to become the CEO at Ontario-headquartered financial services outsourcing vendor Symcor Inc.

Kilroy has been at IBM since 1982, and in 2001 became president of IBM Canada, the largest IT services company in the country. He will take up his new position at Mississauga, Canada-based Symcor Inc on January 10, 2005.

Symcor Inc, a specialist in check and payment processing outsourcing and one of North America’s largest business outsourcing companies, was set up in 1996 and is jointly owned by the Royal Bank of Canada, the Toronto-Dominion Bank, and the Bank of Montreal.
