IBM BELGIUM TO TAKE OVER SOLVAY INSTALLATIONS

Belgian chemicals company Solvay SA is dumping off its mainframe and Unix installations in Europe onto IBM Belgium SA. The operations will be structured as a joint venture in which Solvay will retain 25.1%. IBM Belgium takes on 25 people in Brussels and 15 in Hanover, Germany.
