The new products round out the portfolios of x86 offerings which comes with energy efficient blade server with networking flexibility and a rack system that bridges the gap between traditional two-processor servers and four-processor systems for handling high-performance computing and database-intensive applications.

IBM also unveiled several new entry systems to perform small-to-mid-size infrastructure workloads.

The offering includes BladeCenter HS23E, IBM System x3750, IBM System x3630 M4 and x3530 M4, and Flex System x220.

BladeCenter HS23E is a blade server designed for small to mid-sized organisations, offering networking flexibility with built-in support for multiple networking technologies. It includes up to eight networking ports of Ethernet and other advanced networking protocols.

IBM System x3750 is a four processor application that is created for technical computing and other floating-point intensive workloads.
