HUNDT SETS HIS FCC LEAVE DATE

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Reed Hundt says he will resign from the agency, effective October 30. Hundt’s successor is set to be William Kennard, currently the agency’s general counsel. However, a confirmation vote has been held up because of wrangling in the Senate over campaign-finance legislation.
