Information and communications technology (ICT) applications provider Huawei has launched a new mobile broadband (MBB) research laboratory, mLAB.
The new laboratory facilitates cooperation with MBB industries and is enables customers to experience Huawei’s MBB applications for HSPA/LTE and future network environments.
Huawei has launched mLAB to analyse trends in end user and device behavior, MBB services and provide substantive traffic models for network deployment and future platform development.
The new laboratory is launched to design MBB applications for enhancing network architecture, increasing resource efficiency, improving user experience and creating new business models.
Huawei’s mLAB has also produced new MBB apps, including Huawei’s Networker for QoE monetiSation, video optimisation, 3GPP/WLAN integration and smartphone optimisation among others.
