Currently, it has about 300 workers in Taiwan, which is the world’s largest PC-making region. HP executives told local reporters that Taiwan was the center of notebook R&D. About half of HP’s commercial notebooks are already developed in Taiwan.
The company has four design notebook design centers, in China, Germany, Taiwan and the US.
