The computer maker unveiled 12 new products at its Art of Small Business event which is intended to showcase how small business can leverage HP technologies.

The company launched new notebooks with built-in mobile broadband, wireless networking technologies HP Compaq 6515b and 6715b that come with a choice of AMD processors including the new AMD Turion 62 X2 dual-core mobile technology.

HP also revealed two new networking switches as part of its ProCurve Networking HP 1400 and 1700 Series.

In the security and data protection space HP unveiled a new StorageWorks Media Vault Pro product that lets small businesses scale up their computing to expandable network storage and enhanced protection services.

HP also showcased its entry-level desktop ProLiant ML115 server and added Intel Core 2 Duo processors to its Compaq dx23000 business desktop PC line.

For small retailers HP also took the wraps off its rp5700 point of sale systems that integrates with HP-branded peripherals and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Corp’s Dynamics point of Sale 2.0 software.

HP also announced a new support portal for small businesses called Total Care Services in the US. This includes a range of free and fee-based services and programs.

HP is also offering attractive financing options for small business customers, including zero percent lease rates with b a 27-month terms across all the new products until April 30, 2007.

It also provides an affordable Smart Data Protection Service for online backup and recovery that starts at around $12 per month.
