HP has unveiled the ENVY, a 27-inch In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor with a built-in "Beats" Audio system, at the ongoing Consumer Electronics show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The built-in "Beats" speakers are angled upward for producing midrange and high frequencies, with bass and studio-quality sound.
The monitor, which is claimed to provide a unique and immersive audio-visual experience by the company, was developed in partnership with Dr. Dre.
The In-Plane Switching (IPS) panel offers a 178º viewing angle both horizontally and vertically in front of the display.
The monitor features edge-to-edge glass, design with 13.95mm at the top, aluminium base, including audio aspects, subwoofer and digital audio output.
The company also unveiled HP Pavilion TouchSmart Sleekbook and the HP Pavilion Sleekbook powered by an AMD A-Series APU, featuring a 15.6inch diagonal high-definition (HD) display, 1TB storage, a removable battery and a numeric keyboard.
The company also unveiled the HP Pocket Playlist, a portable media storage device.
