HP has released the latest version of its Client Automation, an application that enables customers to reduce PC management costs by delivering enhanced services and promises improved return on investment in PC technology.

During technology refresh projects, the new release will enable HP customers to cut costs and setup time by delivering new PCs to end users, thereby eliminating the need to stage deployments through the IT department.

HP Client Automation OS Manager simplifies the Operating system (OS) adoption, allowing customers to transition to the latest Microsoft Windows platforms.

Usage of HP Client Automation 8.10 for traditional PCs, virtual desktops, virtualised applications and thin clients, allows HP customers to implement new technology trends such as virtualisation.

The new release also enables HP customers to acquire and deploy HP Softpaqs and better hardware security and protection with HP ProtectTools and HP Device Access Manager.

It facilitates reduction of power consumption with HP Power Assistant and reduces downtime with HP hardware-based failure alerts, the company added.
