HP introduces two new point-of-sale systems

HP RP7 and RP3 will help the company to expand its portfolio to meet the needs of customers

HP has introduced two new point-of-sale systems, HP RP7 Retail System and HP RP3, that claims to offer enhanced customer service allowing retailers and hospitality business owners to manage their operations.

The new point-of-sale systems HP RP7 Retail System Model 7100 is a new fanless version of the RP7 All-in-One that is designed for the harsh hospitality environment.

HP RP7 Model 7100 include a fanless design that resists splashes, smoke and dust to offer enhanced reliability, display-size and touch-technology options as well as optional integrated peripherals and several mounting configurations support countertop or wall.

It includes energy-efficient Energy Star qualified and EPEAT Gold registered design that delivers low power consumption to reduce cooling and energy costs.

In addition, the HP RP7comes with options for adding the HP RP7 10.4-inch customer-facing display (CFD) for additional advertising opportunities or the HP RP7 vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) customer display.

Designed to meet the POS needs of retailers of all sizes, HP RP3 allows many options for multiple store environments.

The HP RP3 Retail System provides connection to legacy and new retail peripherals with a wide range of serial and USB ports and comes with integrated wireless or wired LAN deliver network connectivity for supporting online customer transactions, inventory checks and back-office activities.

It can be operated in an ambient 40°C environment for longer run time with no external cooling and the energy-efficient Energy Star qualified and EPEAT Gold registered design reduces cooling and energy costs to deliver low power consumption.
