By CBR Staff Writer

HP has unveiled upgraded Pavilion notebook PCs versions with enhanced features and based on company’s Mosaic design approach.

The Mosaic design approach includes various elements of MUSE to offer the product in rich colour, materials and shapes into a single design language across the consumer notebook portfolio, HP noted.

The HP Pavilion m6 features Intel and AMD processors, an optional backlit keyboard, a 15.6-inch diagonal LED backlit BrightView display, Beats Audio, dual speakers and subwoofer with about eight hours of battery life.

HP Pavilion m6 comes with the company’s CoolSense technology which adjusts internal fan settings, ProtectSmart locks the hard drive, while Optional SimplePass remembers passwords and the TrueVision HD Webcam provides HD (3) images, the company stated.

HP Design, Personal Systems Group vice president Stacy Wolff said "These notebooks utilize premium materials that are rich to the eye and to the touch, delivering unique sensory experiences."

Among the HP’s redesigned Pavilion dv-series and g-series notebook PCs versions, the new Pavilion dv6 and dv7 have a metal finish, and the HP Pavilion dv4 is available in black licorice, linen white and carmine red.

The HP Pavilion dv6 and dv7 also includes technologies such as HP CoolSense, HP ProtectSmart, HP TrueVision HD Webcam and HP SimplePass as well as optional NVIDIA GeForce notebook graphics processing units for gaming and multimedia purposes.
