Browser and desktop management services provider Howsimple has introduced the public beta version of andi, its next-gen browser and desktop manager that is designed to improve how PC users interact with and manage their online and offline content.
The advanced numerous document interface addresses PC users’ need for better control over online and offline content when browsing the Web, social networking, or utilising offline documents such as MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
The company said that andi is a free and easy-to-install desktop app that enables PCs with supercomputer-like capability and capacity without draining system resources.
The new offering allows users to work with online and offline content and transition to and from multiple tasks.
In addition, andi organises and manages virtually unlimited content and processes without strain to user system’s memory or processing resources, the company said.
Howsimple CEO and founder Craig Holland said PC users are overwhelmed by the amount of online and offline content they have to deal with on a daily basis.
"andi simplifies how users interact with everything from Facebook to emails, to PowerPoint presentations," Holland said.
"With andi, users can work simultaneously on business documents while performing numerous daily online activities, such as searching, email, and social networking, all without impacting their PC’s performance."
The company said that andi is available for Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 users and will be available for Apple and tablet users soon.
