The trouble with all the wonders of computer technology is that no-tech people will keep getting in the way and fouling up the perfect plan: City of London magazine thought it would try out the security at our major banks and financial institutions and found that in eight major firms – Flemings, Barings, Cork Gully, Schroder, Citibank, Lloyds Bank, the Bank of Japan and Bank of Credit & Commerce International (they wouldn’t get in there now) – it was able to walk past the guards and get into the inner sancta where bugs and such would be worth planting, and confided that Employees are remarkably happy to hold open the security door for you as you rush towards it from the lift.
