VisionVault, a secure private cloud for storing, searching, collaborating, repurposing and distributing video content, has chosen to use Imagen from Cambridge Imaging Systems as its asset management platform.
It is hoped that the solution will provide VisionVault’s clients witheasy access to and management of their ingested assets.
VisionVault has been designed in a bid to make it easy and intuitive for brands and their creative and production partners to manage visual content, enabling businesses to bring existing rich media assets to bear on social media, video on demand, and all manner of mobile, online, portal and blog channels.
The system and storage infrastructure is provided by Future Reality, an Australian reseller supplying software and services to the broadcast, television and post production industry.
Each VisionVault customer will have their own branded, secure Imagen platform, giving them control over who has access to their assets and what can be done with them. The collaborative materials reside in one place and can be ingested or downloaded from any geographical location that has a suitable bandwidth connection, allowing clients to find, discuss and collaborate on a brief quickly and easily. Imagen also enables the repurposing of shot material from past productions to be edited and/or used in new projects.
Tom Blake, MD, Cambridge Imaging Systems, said: "Imagen makes the management and organisation of large data files quick and easy. We are proud to work with VisionVault, enabling their clients to save time and money by improving their ability to search and retrieve clips, and allowing them to collaborate with colleagues around the world."
