AT&T has unveiled prices for offering 4G wireless technology in Audi’s latest car, the A3, starting at $99 for a 5GB half-year plan and $499 for a 30GB 30-month plan.

In addition, all A3 sedans featuring Audi connect will receive a free six-month trial period, Audi added.

Audi of America president Scott Keogh said: "The new AT&T data plans with 4G LTE connectivity will allow Audi drivers to enjoy seamless navigation, streaming and high-speed access to the Internet."

The latest Audi connect equipped in A3 sedan allows picture navigation, read-aloud news headlines, Facebook and Twitter alerts, as well access to over 7,000 Web radio stations and personalised RSS news feeds.

Furthermore, the accompanying mobile app will boost functionality between the Audi Multi Media Interface (MMI) system and smartphones.
