HOSKYNS AIMS TO RE-ENGINEER YOUR BUSINESS PROCESS

By CBR Staff Writer

Hoskyns Group Plc, the UK and Irish arm of Paris-based Cap Gemini Sogeti SA, has launched yet another contender in the growing market of business process re-engineering products. Supply Chain Breakthrough is an integrated set of consultancy, education and information management services aimed at national and multinational companies to improve their distribution operations. Hoskyns is aiming at the pharmaceutical, petro-gas, food and drink industries. Les Mara, divisional director of Hoskyns, said the system was a yellow brick road to success for companies that used it. He claimed it was superior to other business process re-engineering products as it looked at what the company was trying to achieve as a whole, rather than simply altering systems. Supply Chain Breakthrough’s basic principle is to look at how getting the product from the factory to the consumer can be improved, depending on whatever problem is being experienced.
