In the US, Honeywell Bull accompanied announcement of the DPS 8000s with additions to the DPS 6 Plus line of virtual minis. The Plus 400 Series lowers the entry point and supports up to 50 users in an office environment; out now, it is from $33,000. A new third processor option for DPS 6 Plus models costs $25,000. On the mainframe front the DPS 8000/81 is $675,000, the 82T, $1.3m; Interel, a GCOS 8 relational database was introduced in the US; UK launch in September.
