HONEYWELL BULL BRINGS TWO ENTRY LEVEL PROCESSORS TO THE UK

Honeywell Bull has finally brought to the UK two entry level processors plus a range of software products in its DPS 6 Plus minicomputer line which were announced in the US and France last November (CI No 804): on the hardware side there is a 24-user Model 221 while the Model 211 comes in as the DPS6 Plus entry level machine, while two optional packages provide for the upgrading of the DPS6 Plus 400 Series computers to the larger 410 Series; the software products include an integrated Ethernet based net facility, an integrated image processing capability, a document exchange link between Honeywell Bull and IBM systems, a family of transaction processing products, plus an enhancement to the DPS6 applications development language tool-set.
