Honeywell Inc has been awarded a $129m contract by McDonnell Douglas Corp’s Aerospace unit in Huntington Beach, California, for the International Space Station Alpha command and data handling system; the contract is the largest in the 30-year history of the Minneapolis company’s Satellite Systems Operation and should be finished in 1997.
