The first in a fleet of six Type 45 Destroyers, HMS Daring will feature alongside its latest military technology, CD players and internet access, as well as the aforementioned iPod capability.
HMS Daring will be the world’s first genderless battleship and the inclusion of entertainment features was as pivotal in its design as the raft of military features, with the Royal Navy keen to show that it was as preoccupied with the crew’s health and wellbeing in peacetime as well as wartime.
