HITACHI SUES SAMSUNG, SOUTH KOREA

Hitachi Ltd is suing Samsung Semiconductor & Telecommunications Co of Seoul, South Korea alleging infringement of Hitachi patents in its 64K and 256K dynamic memory chips: both Samsung and Hitachi were sued by Texas Instruments Inc last year for infringing other memory chip patents held by Texas.
