HITACHI RELEASES THE B16LXW

Hitachi Ltd has released the B16LXw, a laptop personal computer with a greyscale lightem-itting diode display putting up eight shades of grey, with sales starting this month: Hitachi already has a gas plasma display model, the LX model, as well as an LXs with a non-reflective LED screen; the new LXw uses the 80286 chip, has Japanese language functions as standard and is $5,400 with 40Mb disk.
