HITACHI EUROPE’S NEW DISK DRIVE WILL BE AVAILABLE SEPTEMBER

Hitachi Europe says its first 5.25 write-once optical disk drive with 300Mb per side will be available from September: the new drive comes with an SCSI interface and Hitachi reckons its capacity is among the highest for the 5.25 form factor; price will be UKP2,000.
