Hitachi Consulting, a provider of business and IT strategies and offerings, has acquired Aptivo Consulting, a provider of consulting services to the financial (banking and insurance), public sector and telecommunications industries.
Madrid-based Aptivo Consulting specialises in providing IT advisory services, business intelligence, benchmarking and analytics, CRM and custom web development offerings.
Aptivo Consulting’s client list includes financial institutions, public sector and telecom companies in Spain.
Through this acquisition, Hitachi Consulting will expand its global footprint and increase its ability to offer technology offerings worldwide.
Hitachi Consulting said that this acquisition follows its acquisition of Sierra Atlantic, a provider of off-shore enterprise applications and outsourced product development with approximately 2,400 employees worldwide.
Hitachi Consulting president and CEO Phil Parr said they were committed to pursuing very strategic acquisitions that will allow them to continue to expand their global business.
