Rather than Hi3G forking out large sums of money to increase coverage, it has found a solution that should satisfy both companies and its clients. Hi3G, which is part-owned by Hutchison Whampoa, believes the new deal not only brings value for the customer but also displays the company’s ability to find solutions to problems challenging the industry without aid from third parties.
The negotiations are set to start soon, and are expected to draw to a close by the end of August.
