HEWLETT-PACKARD TO ADD A 68030-BASED UNIX WORKSTATION

Hewlett-Packard Co expects to have a 68030-based Unix workstations by the middle of this year as an addition to the HP9000 Series 300 line: Hewlett will also be bringing out 68030 processor board upgrades for the 9000 Models 330 and 350 – but the upgrade price for the 330 will be higher than that for the 350; the company also claims to be working with Motorola to produce a higher clock rate for the 68030.
