HEWLETT-PACKARD TAKES THE SCANJET SCANNER BACK TO THE LABS

By CBR Staff Writer

Hewlett-Packard has decided to go ahead with its ScanJet scanner for the Apple Macintosh in its present form, and has taken it back to the labs for a rethink: announced in late summer as the HP9190A, it consisted of a $1,495 ScanJet and a $595 Mac interface it was never shipped because of snags with the interface; no date has been set for release of a revised version.
