HEWLETT-PACKARD SHIPS DISTRIBUTED SMALLTALK WITH OBJECT BROKER

Hewlett-Packard Co, Palo Alto, California is shipping HP Distributed Smalltalk 5.0, which now incorporates Common Object Request Broker Architecture Version 2.0. It can be used on most Unix systems and personal computers, and enables developers to create their own application programming interfaces and partition applications. It costs $5,000 for Unix server systems and $3,000 on stand-alone personal computers.
